Detailed dutch language investigative history about those who lived and worked in pre-war Dutch East Indies, the war against Japan, the occupation of Indonesia, captivity in japanese P.O.W. AND Concentration camps, the porced or by free will return to Holland after the end of the war, the arrival in Holland and the struggle to build a new life, social integration and labour. Together 141 former P.O.W. and Internees have been interviewed by author about life and exploits before, during the japanese oppression and after the return home. It also includes an introduction about pre-war colonial Indonesia. A true goldmine of data and of human interest so many years after the War's end. Good to very good copy. (copy a little bit dull).
