Collection of 23 dutch language stories, illustrating missionary achievements in dutch colonial Indonesia, by a number of dutch and foreign missionaries as Van Asselt, among the Batak, The Minahassa, Halmaheira, Robert Moffat in Polynesia, incl. an interesting chapter (with plates), supplying information on the Hadj from Indonesia to Mecca, incl. i.a. notes on the controversy between Islam and Christianity in dutch colonial Indonesia and missionary efforts to conversion of Muslims to christianity. (some light wear to spine-ends, a bit dig-eared).
