Dutch language scholarly study and assessment of the return and repatriation of dutch nationals, D.P.'s, back home, after their stay in german and japanese concentration camps during the Second Worldwar, both in Europe and in Southeast Asia, which includes the Dutch East Indies; social and economic rehabilitation problems, racial tensions between DP's from colonial Indonesia and the dutch population, assimilation problems, etc. The title "Meelstreep"refers to a line of flour drawn as an imaginary border laid in the village of Eede, Zeeland Province, which line was cressed by the late Queen Wilhelmina of The Netherlands upon her return to Holland after her five-year stay in London.
