Brandt on 6 extending sheets, printed recto/verso, with explanatory text to each design, loosely inserted, a decorative head- and tail-piece, related advertism., of which some illustrated on 1 unnumbered lve. at very, on verso of front wrapper and on recto/verso of lower outer wrapper.
The technique of application of ornamentation to textiles, wood and ceramics, with designs by O. Marie Brandt, with an illustration of the tool needed, a gas-fired hot pin, as presented here, is derived from the ancient art of line- and pattern drawing on glass. An interesting and rather curious manual, with the original loosely inserted patterns on 5 folding sheets. Very good copy. (small tear to lower outer wrapper skilfully restored with clearview acid-free tape).
