An odd issue, year 13-no. 4, June-July-August 1922, of a french language quarterly, published by the french-algerian Touris-Burea at Algiers, North Africa. Contains four informative essays descibing high lights of the capital of Algiers, Oran municipality, the Oasis Sidi-Okba and a 2pp. article in english with 4 illustrations, recommending the tourist to visit and experience the special atmosphere and the beauty of the landscape in the interior of the colony, where still authentic nomads live in their tents. It also includes an article explaining the work and objectives of the Tourist Bureau on verso of ti.-p. and an article describing the beauty of the capital Algiers, on verso of last unnumbered leave. A very interesting piece of tourist information on this North African french colony. Very good copy.

An impressive set of this famous italian literary classic, translated by Chr. Kops (OFM). Copy printed with wide margins on heavy paper, limted to 1025 numbered copies only, this set bears nr. 594. According to colophon the whole edition was sold by subscription and out-of-print upon publication. Very good and attractive set. (ownership's neat signature in ink on f.e.p., some minimal and very occasional foxing to f.e.p.'s).

Fold. plates depict. excavation-sites, other plates depict. numerous archaeological finds. The 2nd. part of this volume is the annual report of the commission of the Provincial Museum of antiquities (at Assen, Drenthe), submitted to the Provincial administration of Drenthe covering the year 1928. The first plate has some minimal foxing in upper margin, ow. a MINT copy. Scarce.
