French language narrative of author's record flight undertaken in 1924 Paris-Tokyo in 20 stops only. Author was a Captain aviator in the french airforce, one of the french "Aces" of the First World wwar. Very good untrimmed copy in a very fine private and contemporary binding. Rare.

[circa], 1905 A circular stamped-out metal disc, ř: 4,5cm., original glass top, the base being a relief-map showing the positions of the Russian and Japanese Fleets at Port Arthur during the Russo-Japanese war of 1905. Ships indicated by tiny metal balls which one has to place in small declivities stamped in the metal bottom. ["R.P. Rc No 435095, stamped in outer metal bottom, probable a registration-number]. SCAN AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.
A presumably contemporary war-souvenir, being a 'game' dealing with the naval battle between the Russian and Japanese fleet in 1905. A very interesting and rare war-souvenir indeed. Very good condition.
