Dutch language juvenile history and description with strong christian moralistic tendence, narrating the Boer guerilla against british troops, with as ultimate objective independence for the Boer Republics, South Africa at the end of the nineteenth century. Represents more or less the public opinion in Germany and the Netherlands about the British oppression of the Boers. Nice and attraqctive copy in original publ. cloth. (spine faded, top of spine worn but restored, contents good, original lithographs crisp and fresh).
